Oy vey

Postby GreyCoyote » August 16th, 2015, 5:42 pm

Shitty/hot day, and then when I get home there is 96L running low and slow in the Atlantic near 10N. Seriously? That thing will be making the bend into the Gulf about the time I'm departing for BRC.

So... Fuck it. Tonight I flip the bird at the gods of fate and patience.

If this creature gets to 50W and it's still south of 15N when it gets there, it'll go into the Gulf... and that means bad ju-ju, Kimosabe...

Wasn't there a storm threat last year right before you hit the road too??
What's up with that?

Kinda cute and fuzzy, tho. ("Hey baby... Can I buy ya a drink and maybe warm-over some of my patented, really cheap, and deeply shallow, come-on lines?" Hehehe)

Bartender! A double for the Abilene Angel!!

There is a new scientific study out in the New England Journal of Medicine. Researchers at the University of Toronto found a statisical correlation between shoulder flexability and the rate of hemmoragic stroke in women between the ages of 24 and 65. Apparently the same gene mutation that is responsible for a high degree of shoulder flex also has a protective effect on the plasticity of fine vessels in the brain. The relationship is poorly understood but the test id simple and free. Test subjects that could touch their elbows behind their backs had a very high correlation to having the protective TOF-4a gene.

Try it! (-ducking!-)

Sounds like it is worth doing a population study while in BRC. ;-)

This is supposed to be a quiet year in the tropics, but it only takes one hurricane to ruin your day!
