I think (much experimenting needed) tge secret is really fresh mint. Im thinking i will grow a tub of mint to bring to TTITD. It will have to be hidden from the Vice Squad in the trailer. You know how draconian they get about weeds. :)

Could it be flash-frozen in a paper bag? Or would it just be a wilted, ugly mess?

Can I hide my weed with your weed? If you can disguise your weed, them I'm sure your weed will disguise my weed. ;)

So we are driving and its grey outside. Speaking of Grey, funny thing happened last nght... Got in late after a six hour drive - so we run to different bathrooms. I finish first as usual and head into the kitchen to whip up dinner.
I start hearing these noises coming from behind Grey's closed bathroom door.
Sounds like a Larry the Cable Guy joke in there.... And im wondering what's the problem, should i call for help...you know the noises... Uuihhhhnnnnn, uuuhhhnnnn...
Anyway, so maybe i dont really want to know.
.
Finally, Grey comes out and says "that toilet is really starting to piss me off".
Took everything i had to keep a straight face :)

Well, maybe you has to be there...

Just to clarify: I was holding the floppy remains of a dysfunctional ballcock I had just removed from somewhere wet and dark.

Wait. That explanation didnt help me much...

But don't you spend a fair portion of each and every day "holding the floppy remains...." "...somewhere wet and dark."

Bartender - send another round to this table!
Its been a day. Cara, my beloved daughter, got the screws out of her ankle. The doctor says she's healed, just needs exercise. But she is still not putting her foot on the ground when she walks.
Tense all day, waiting for things...
Glad to be somewhere warm and comfy.
Salud!

She's doing great. Thanks. :)

She introduced me to Starbucks Refreshers. You all ought to try that as a base for some kinda drink with an umbrella in it. :)

I (lion) fully understand this!
Ripped my Achillies tendon October 1st at the gym, still healing, hobbling and dealing with physio.
She will heal, just has to go through a little more pain to get there.

So what exactly is going on here, is the group planning on bringing a margarita machine?

We would be more than willing to pitch in and help out. It actually sounds like fun!

I think the notion presently is to show-up with an army of Ninja blenders, power, and enough booze to float a boat. Beyond that, its still a little murky, but all the right bits are there. (booze. Blenders. Jimmy Buffett would be proud!)

Usually just rum and diet coke for us, but we can figure it out.

Do we make our own ice hehe??

Mojojotis (a rum drink) son (are) muy Buenos (very good) tambien (also).

I took a case of limes to Flipside Austin last year, traded them to a mojojito camp for my choice of mojojitos. They were SOOOOO good.
I too a case of limes to TTITD, and forgot I had them...

Ah well, its a lovely, light, knowk your socks and jock straps off kind of drink. :)

ok - so I have been researching.
Mojojitos are basically rum, sugar water, soda, mint leaves and lime juice.
The secret may be in the sugar water - syrup. Too sweet makes it cloying. Too light makes it dull.

My lime tree has produced about a dozen limes. I didn't know that the green limes will turn yellow if you leave them on the tree. But they do. And they are SOOOOOOO good. Different flavor than a lemon. Still limey.

Gonna have to experiment... :)
