My day today has been pretty damn good. I finally managed to get the ex-wife to commit to an every other weekend schedule with the kids that actually will make it easier for both of us for Burning Man this year.

My day today has been pretty damn good. I finally managed to get the ex-wife to commit to an every other weekend schedule with the kids that actually will make it easier for both of us for Burning Man this year.

Thats a good thing, my whole child support is due in Feb, I dont think it will change much...Just hate talking with her about it...always seems like swallowing sand...but my son is important so I just pay and make sure he has what he needs.

The day was overall stupid busy, were getting ready to do a whole server\storage\network refresh, 500k or so...its going to be a wild ride.
I just haven't told them I am taking my 4 weeks vacation + 4 days without pay yet.....

What'cha all drinking today? I mixed up a berry smoothie with (homemade) orange liquor and silver tequila. Very tasty and you can't even telll it's got alcohiol in it.

I just finished working for the day. Fuck I need to find a job that doesn't own me like this... Okay I know, I let the job own me so shut up! I'm shutting up and pouring my typical bottom shelf vodka and bottom shelf kahlua.

I ordered something from rei.com the other day. It shipped out of a distribution center 150 miles west-north-west of my house via fedex. It arrived today at a fedex smart post facility 250 miles due south of me today where it will be placed in the mail for the final leg of it's journey.

Its the same way here. If I send mail across the street, it goes to Houston first. (This in a town of 1600 people. Go figure...)

I really need a weekend of irresponsibility. I went out with a girl I'm seeing and a bunch of her friends. Four of them carpooled so only one had to stay reasonably sober. He had two glasses of wine in four hours and the other three drank enough to make a sailor blush.

It's been so, very long since I drank enough (while out) to regret it the next day.

I'll just sip this glass of Lagavulin 16 and contemplate the day.

Tonight it's just a big glass o' Bourbon and a half a Flexeril. My shoulder is seriously hurting.

And lunch at the taco truck....mmmmm street meat.

Yup they are pretty early. Usually blooms aren't this thick until early March.

The whole street smells incredible. The Cherry Lane at Beacon Hill Park is just a giant veil of pink canopies.

Pink snow everywhere. One of my favorite time of year.

I took a long lunch (shhh) and had to walk the lane for a bit. And then shake a small tree to dance in the pink snow as petals fell...And run away back to work.
