Any Survivors??

Postby GreyCoyote » January 7th, 2015, 4:40 am

Well kids, that was an interesting night!

For those of you trying to play along at home, the wreckage can be found scattered all over the various threads in Campmates.

My night involved the better part of a bottle of Capt Morgan's best rum and a keyboard with a mind of its own.

Someone pass the Wheaties. And tell that fooking cat to stop stomping around.

My head hurts, and I cant feel my toes, but I'm grinning!

Well kids, I may live after all. The doc told me point blank that if I was a horse, he'd just shoot me. Told me I should have gone to the ER last night. (I didnt have the heart to tell him I couldnt make it off the couch, much less to the ER!)

Score thus far: A steroid injection (dex), oral steroids, antibiotics, and a narcotic cough suppressant.

This for the guy that hasnt had ANYTHING except advil and OTC meds for a decade.

His parting shot: "next time dont be such a dumbass".

I just had a steroid injection about 2 weeks ago. It was for eczema, but no doubt it bolstered me against all the crap everyone is getting right now. :o

Its odd that I used dex to knock-DOWN the immune systems in fish I used as lab rats years ago. But it has the reverse effect in humans.

Dex is a mover. Beams took me in and had to drive because I was too out of it to operate a vehicle. 30 minutes later I felt like a new sponge. Im currently sitting in Walmart waiting for my scripts and in no distress, when 3 hours ago I could barely sit up!

The miracles of modern medicine!

I'll tell ya what: this codeine-based cough syrup kicks ass. I may have a new secret ingredient for our top-shelf OtterPoppaRitas!

I'm impressed. Within an hour of the shot of Dex, GC was snappy peppy, and other than a blush on his cheeks - back to a normal color and skin tone.
Then the codeine took charge, and he's RAMPED UP!!!!

I'm leery of steroids - I want to save my liver for alcohol - but this was a definite winner!!!

Once you are beyond the child bearing age - it doesn't matter.
I really think over the age of 50 (or if you can prove you've fixed that problem) the full range of meds ought to be OTC.

I can't bear to have any more children. Can I get an OTC license?

That Xray of your back was impressive as all hell. Completely freaked me out, and then I remember you clocked something like 100 miles on the playa so clearly it worked!

Me? Instead of steroids, I'd be thinking "WD-40".

Since you mentioned it, I'll post it for those who haven't seen. It is miraculous!

Wow!

Warrantee? Does it need a tune-up? Does it cause nervous twitching around redheads?

The devices are guaranteed for workmanship until the day I die. The installation, not so much.
Hell, Kowtow I was only up at 05:00. I got 7 hours of sleep. I need to get to the gym early or I can't get my workout in without having to wait for stupid, fucking PEOPLE!
