That is what I thought, were trying to submit our vacation, but I also have my son an extra week this year.

When do people start to Exodus? Right after the temple burn?
Monday morning bright and early?
I am ok if we wait till after lunch on the 7th, no big deal there....Even into the evening would be ok, Stay in winamuka or further north.

Exodous starts when the gate opens. The city starts packing up about 6 hours prior to the Man burn. Traffic gets noticable with delays just before sunseton the Man burn. Expect delays any time after that all the way up to Monday afternoon.

These are guidelines. Every year is different and has a beat all its own.

I usually start packing things up on Monday morning. No rush, slow and steady. Usually leave on Tuesday sometime and traffic is not too bad. YMMV.

Same here. Camp infrastructure comes down Sunday afternoon.
Monday is for personal pack up.
(I really enjoy staying through Monday, all of the PnP folks are gone and their sherpas throw parties/dinners to get rid of the supplies  )
Driving out on Tuesday has always been a straight shot out, no stop and go.

Moved topic to Entrance and Exodus.

I have to be in an audit first thing 9/8 (Tuesday), so I'll likely be leaving Sunday early.

I think we told this tale somewhere else... but I will repeat it to keep it subject appropriate.
We got up Sunday and went... ok, time to go.
We started taking down the dome, and wrapping up the supplies. We were packed by about 4. Hugs all around.
Entered the waiting line. We had no real trouble leaving. Some delays.
Got into Fernley at about 9 pm.

I think I got out of camp about 2pm on Sunday and hit the pavement about 4pm and then pulled into the driveway about 4:30am on Monday.
