Re: 2017 Art Projects

If you threw your hands above your head the LEDs lit up going up. the faster you did it, the higher they would go. If you threw your hands wide to the si...

Seems like a hell of a lot of work. Though, it looks cool.

Great post-zombie-apocalypse communication method.

Re: Getting prepared for BM 2016, one item a day

It was my fault. (Trying to appear humbled, devilish twinkle anyway...) i returned Chuck's walking stick with about 5 pounds of glitter.... Glitter is a bitch to get out of carpet.... When I received my walking stick I could sense it was not alone in the tube it was shipped in. when inverted,...

Re: Getting prepared for BM 2016, one item a day

Chuck zinged me good. I left him my impact last year since they were staying a bit longer. When Chuck shipped it back, he carefully wrapped and boxed it up. It arrived unannounced, so I eagerly opened at my desk at work. The impact had been packed with about a quart of sawdust. Boom! It went ...

Re: The Land Yacht

My favorite Land Yacht story is how I met the Captain. I was out walking with someone, Lost maybe, when I saw what could only be the Land Yacht. I shouted "GOD DAMNIT!" at the top of my lungs and it stopped instantly. That's when I was certain it was the Land Yacht. We hopped aboard and we...

For the record, when those puppies are heating water a single EU2000 strains a bit. We always made sure both were running before we fired it up.

It is quite a lot of fun. I speak from experience, though while I didn't drink scotch, I was never not drinking something.

Re: Power and what to look for

In 2014 the camp was running 3 generators in parallel. two EU2000's and an EU3000. I've seen videos of 4 EU2000s daisy chained together and another of a 1000 & 2000 linked up with no ill effects.
